Open Days 2017

Throughout the year we open our doors at the Chancel at All Saint's Church for Open Days where members of the public can come along and view the war memorials and other items of remembrance we have rescued and/or restored and have been unable to relocate or rehome.

Our Next Open Days will be held in September in support of Leicester's Heritage Open Days events programme and will be as follows:

Thursday 07 September - 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Friday 08 September - 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Saturday 09 September - 10:00am - 6:00pm

Sunday 10 September - 2:30pm - 5:00pm

(If you have an interest in war memorials and are planning to visit our collection, then we suggest you aim to spend at least 30 minutes with us).

Our current collection of ' Resident Memorials' etc. can be found by clicking here.

Visitors to our Open Days are always very welcome and Denis Kenyon and Chris Stephens plus others from our bank of volunteers are often on hand to talk with you about the background to each of the memorials etc. we have on display.

There is no entrance charge to view the memorials and there is permanent ramp access for wheelchair and pushchair users.  We also have our own toilet facilities.

There are information sheets (story boards) with each exhibit which provide some history on the memorial and the background on how it came to be with us.
